With any of our hosting plans, you have the right to resell your website space to friends, associates or clients, allowing you to recover your hosting cost. and even making a profit. Please see our guidelines for allowable content.

7 x 24 Support:

Our support staff are available by email 7 days a week. We respond to email questions and support requests well within 24 hours of receiving an email (usually within a few hours). If questions or problems arise, they are usually answered or solved within the first email response. This is a domain using a name of your choice (yourname.com) This domain is assigned its own IP# and is not aliased of another IP.

Support for Java, PERL, C++, TCL, and Python:

FTP and Telnet Access:

You get full FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and Telnet access to your account. This give you the options to upload and download files, change permissions, call scripts from your cgi-bin directory, change passwords, check email and much more.

Anonymous FTP:

Your anonymous FTP site is completely different from your website. When people FTP to your domain anonymously, they will see the following directories:

"pub" is where you should put all your anonymously accessible files. "incoming" is for the anonymous users to upload files to.

Disk Space:

We include up to 300 MB of webspace on each and every account. No more 5, 10, 25 MBs and running out of space, only to upgrade and pay additional set-up fees. We give you more space than you need from the beginning! More than 93% of our hosted sites don't even come close to using this much space, but it's there if they need to. You can resell the rest.

Site Traffic per Month:

The traffic allowance provided, is in excess of 10 times more than the average user needs. Each gig of transfer is equal to approximately 100,000 hits.

WUSAGE 6.0 Statistics Program:

This is a very powerful tool for tracking visitors to your site. It will tell you how long they were there, what pages they visited and the order they were visited in. With advanced logging activated, it will even tell where they came from and what browser was being used.

Access to Raw Logs:

In your home directory, you will see a file called "access-log". You can download this file using a FTP program and open it in any word processor to see exactly what files were accessed, what domain the visitor came from, the dates and times of each visit, etc. You can also download this file to be used with your own web traffic analyzer. The previous week's data is erased each Sunday.

CGI-bin for your Scripts:

CGI stands for "Common Gateway Interface," a fancy name meaning computer programs running on the webserver that can be invoked from a www page at the browser. The "bin" part alludes to the binary executables that result from compiled or assembled programs. It is a bit misleading because cgi's can also be Unix shell scripts or interpreted languages like Perl. You get your CGI-bin for your own scripts.

Server Side Includes:

This feature is meant for websites that do not use FrontPage. SSI or Server side includes, allow the server to parse special page commands. As an example if you had a footer you wanted on all your pages that may change from time to time, you can create a text file with the desired footer and place it in your domain. On each page you put a simple include to read that file and place it at the bottom of the desired pages.

Customizable Missing Docs Page:

By placing a file in your main directory called missing.html, you will be able to give a customized page to any viewer that requests a file with their browser that does not exist on your domain.

Power PlusMail System

All of the features of the PlusMail System can be edited, modified and controlled by using the Plusmail Control Panel.

Unlimited Subscribable Mailing Lists:

This feature can be controlled by the Control Panel. This is one of the most powerful features of the Power PlusMail System. This will allow you to give your customers an email address that they can send to and be added to your personalized maillist. This is a great way to offer your customers a monthly newsletter, sales updates or just a friendly hello. The Plusmail system is capable of multiple lists so you can organize what information your customers may be looking for, a friendly welcome message will also be sent. The lists can be up to 1000 names and you can email a message up to 75k to the lists you create.
: By placing a simple text file of E-Mail addresses on your domain you can easily build a mailing list of up to a thousand addresses. This is linked to your autoresponder robot. When a request is made for a file from one of your potential customers, the requester's E-Mail automatically gets placed in your mailing list. You are then able to send updates and information on new products by simply mailing to your mailing list file. For example, if your list is named "clients", you would E-Mail clients@yourdomain.com and the entire list would get the information you want distributed. You may also use this for a number of marketing services, such as, electronic newsletters, an information exchange network, or just a simple list server that you can have visitors subscribe to.

Unlimited Autoresponders:

This feature can be controlled by the Control Panel.
: This will activate an automated response to an email message.; It allows you to drop as many simple text files as you like in order to respond to specific incoming inquiries.; With our Advanced PlusMail account, the requestor's address is automatically written to your mailing list.

Unlimited Email Aliases:

Unlimited email aliases means that you can have as many "any name" you want at your domain name. Such as:

Also, any of these alias name can be redirected to any POP3 email account, such as your ISP's email address.

Unlimited Email Redirects:

This feature can be controlled by the Control Panel. The benefit of PlusMail redirects is that you don't need a separate POP3 account for each email address you want to use in your domain. You can put in your webpages, "Send email to help@yourdomain.com" without the need to have a separate POP3 account.
: Multiple redirection is possible. For instance, if you want email to go to two addresses at the same time, enter the different emails with a comma to separate them, no spaces.

5 & 10 Free POP3 Accounts:

A POP3 email account allows you to retrieve your email using any email program or email client you choose. Each POP3 account is password protected, independent and secure from any other POP3 email account within the same domain. With the 150 MB virtual plan, you get 5 POP3 email accounts. With the 300 MB virtual plan, you get 10 POP3 email accounts. Optional POP3 email accounts are also available for non-virtual accounts.

GuestBook:

Guestbook allows you to set up your own comments page. From there, visitors can add entries to your guestbook and they will be displayed with the most recent at the top and scrolling down, or vice versa. Guestbook is already set up for your use. You can simply use the following URL to access it:

WWW Discussion Board:

WWW Board is a threaded World Wide Web discussion forum and message board, which allows users to post new messages, follow-up to existing ones and more. It is already pre-configured for you. Just go to: http://www.yourdomain.com/bbs

Free-For-All-Links page:

Free-For-All Links page allows you to set up a web page which your users can then add links to in specified categories. Newest links are added to the top of each category. A running total of the number of links present as well as the time when the last link was added is shown at the top of the page. Your pre-configured Free-For-All Links page is already set up at:

Full Site counters:

There are 3 different types of page counters you can place on your pages. One of these counters is a graphical counter. It will give you all kinds of stats such as time and date of visits, and domains that your visitors come from.

CGIemail:

CGIemail is provided to non-FrontPage accounts. This is another form processing script, totally different than FormMail, discussed above. It is a program written in the C language that takes the contents of fill-in boxes on a form and emails them to a specified location.

FormMail.cgi:

FormMail is a generic www form to email gateway, which will parse the results of any form and send them to the specified user. This script has many formatting and operational options, most of which can be specified through the form.

Random Text Displayer:

Random Text is a program which takes a plain text file, which contains a series of phrases, quotes, lines of text, html tags, etc... and a delimiter (the character(s) which separate each entry) and will randomly choose one of the phrases and display it on your web page.

Secure Server SSL:

Normally, any text (such as your credit card number) sent from your browser to the web server is sent as plain text. This means that a hacker could potentially intercept (however unlikely) the information sent from your browser and read it. However, by using the secure server, the information is encrypted before it is sent from your browser. It would be practically impossible for anyone to decrypt it without knowing the key.

Search will look at all your html pages for words you enter, and return all pages on a list with links. This program is completely configured and ready to run, but for Search.cgi to return a response, it needs to be activated.

Real Audio/Video:

Real Audio/Video is available as an option for Virtual plans. See our fee schedule for details.Real Audio is a real time audio transmission player system. A digital audio stream is transmitted from the server over the Internet to the destination and played immediately, rather than being stored to disk first and then played.

Java Chatroom:

We provide a Java Chat program for use on your domain. Extra charges apply for use of this feature. See our fee schedule for pricing. If you have applied for basic Java Chat, look on your website for a chat directory. It will already be configured for the server.
